As of January 1, 2026, scanning operations (non-intrusive inspection) of cargo at the Port of Douala-Bonabéri will be exclusively handled by Transatlantic D S.A., the concession holder of the Port Authority of Douala.
Scanning fees will be paid directly to the offices of Transatlantic D S.A. (Quifferou Building).
⚠️Any container for which fees have not been paid will not be allowed to proceed through the port logistics chain.
Eventually, scanning will be extended to 100% of goods, both imports and for export, in accordance with the national
security policy.Detailed procedures will be outlined in a separate document.
